I did a Hardcore Motorcycle Tour in August of 2007, Hardcore Steve and I rode Harley Davidson's up Route 100 through Vermont heading for Quebec, Canada. We stopped several times to eat at the finest places Vermont had to offer. The first night we attended an outdoor blues concert where I danced for the first time in many years. We lodged in a mountain resort where the people were very friendly and hospitable. I awoke to a hot shower, quick swim in the pool and a breakfast fit for a king. We continued our journey up Route 100 crossing over to northern New Hampshire where we found a 2-day reggae concert about 8 miles down a dirt road. At the road's end sat what had to be about 200 RVs and tents. The smell of barbequed food hung in the summer air. We watched the show, said our goodbyes, and continued north to Canada. Man it was a beautiful ride. HC Steve and I stopped and talked to some locals, who seemed very interested in our trip. Steve exchanged numbers with some of them who wanted to join in next year's trip. Returning home, we stayed at a beautiful mountain lodge. After an exquisite meal and a good night's rest, we continued through Jay's Peak, where it's miles of switchback curves, rolling hills, and the smell of clean, mountain air. We crossed over Smuggler's Notch and rode the incline effortlessly to the valley. The whole time we were cruising I was behind Steve with his bike playing his classic rock collection. This was the most relaxing and the most exciting ride I've ever had. When I'm back in my rig, sitting in a traffic jam, I look up at the pictures we took that are mounted to the ceiling of my cab, and just for a moment, peace comes over me. I've already rebooked the same tour for this summer! Thanks Steve for the time of my life, and thanks Shawn for giving me Steve's number!!!

Myself and four of my girlfriends attended a Hardcore Tour. We met Hardcore Steve in a very remote location where we mounted all our required gear onto 4-wheelers and were shuttled into the snowy forest. It was dark, snowing, and 15 degrees as the headlights illuminated the trail ahead. We arrived at the cabin a short time later where the trail of smoke from the cabin was a welcome sight. Hardcore helped us get settled in for the night. He warned us not to party too much as he had a full day planned. Needless to say, we partied all night long. We didn't follow his instrucctions about the woodstove (good thing he came to wake us up early, BRRRRR!!). He quickly warmed us up and cooked an awesome breakfast and soon enough we were on the trail listening to music from an ipod and touring the snow-covered woods on A.T.V.'s. The sights were postcard perfect. We stopped along the trail, set up a small campfire, and had hotdogs, sausages, cold drinks and aspirin! When evening came, we returned to the cabin weary from a full day of adventure. We took hot showers and had an incredible steak tip dinner. We were warm as toast as the snow continued to fall. Once again Steve gave us another warning as he rode off. "Tequila time" again!!!! Morning came as we were going to bed. We could hear the roar of an A.T.V. coming. We decided to tell Steve we were just waking up. Right after breakfast two girls went to bed and the rest of us hit the trail individually on Steve's machines. The sun soon set and we built a nice bonfire and passed the jug. A weekend we will never forget!! (We left a souvineer on the mounted kareoke deer. If you watch the promo video you'll see it.) See you next year!
